Great question! BibSNAPS can work with sequined costumes, but there are a couple of things to keep in mind.
Since sequins add thickness and texture, the snaps may not fully click together as securely as they would on standard fabric. For best results, we recommend placing the snaps in areas where the fabric is a bit flatter or less densely sequined (like seams or backing fabric, if available).
They’ll still help you avoid putting holes in your costume, but for very heavy or tightly packed sequins, you may need to press a bit more firmly or test placement ahead of time to make sure everything stays secure during movement.
